Wealth Transfer & Estate Visualization
Wealth Transfer & Estate Visualization lets advisors and family office teams map who owns what across trusts, entities and individuals, and show how assets move at death or under a planned transfer. Planners model strategies such as grantor retained annuity trusts and charitable lead annuity trusts with the assumptions written down, and compare them side by side. Every illustration is reviewed before it reaches the family, and the attorneys and tax advisers who give legal and tax advice keep that role.
Principal workflows
- Map: The planner builds the family's structure: individuals, trusts, entities and accounts, with ownership percentages, trustees, beneficiaries and the key terms of each instrument.
- Model: Strategies are modeled on the current structure, with every assumption visible: growth and yield, the Section 7520 rate used, annuity terms, exemption amounts the planner enters, and timing.
- Compare and review: Scenarios are compared with the current plan, and the illustration is reviewed by the family's attorney or tax adviser and, where your policies require it, by compliance before it is shared.
- Share and maintain: The family sees an approved, plain-language view of their plan. When the plan changes, the map is updated from the new documents and every earlier version is kept.

Features
- Structure diagrams: Interactive diagrams of individuals, trusts, entities and accounts, with ownership and beneficial interests on each link.
- Flow at death: Shows where each asset goes on the death of each family member, following the dispositive terms recorded for each instrument.
- GRAT modeling: Annuity schedules, remainder values and the effect of different growth outcomes for grantor retained annuity trusts, including rolling GRAT series.
- CLAT modeling: Charitable annuity payments, the charitable deduction and the projected remainder for charitable lead annuity trusts.
- Visible assumptions: Every projection lists the growth, yield, Section 7520 rate, exemption amounts and timing it uses, entered by the planner or taken from firm defaults.
- Scenario comparison: Current plan and alternative strategies side by side, with differences in projected transfer taxes and amounts reaching each beneficiary.
- Sensitivity analysis: Runs a scenario across ranges of growth and interest rate assumptions so the family sees the spread of outcomes, not one number.
- Document linking: Trust instruments, entity agreements and attorney memos attached to the node they describe.
- Event tracking: Annuity payment dates, trust terminations, Crummey notices and other plan events listed with their owner.
- Illustration review: Client-facing illustrations go through review and approval, with the required disclosures attached, before they are released.
- Family view: A plain-language, read-only view of the approved plan for family members, limited to what each is permitted to see.
- Version history: Every version of the structure and every released illustration kept, so the firm can show what was presented and when.

Limitations
- The product does not give legal, tax or investment advice. Strategies are modeled for discussion; the family's attorneys and tax advisers decide what is appropriate.
- Projections depend on the assumptions entered and are illustrations, not predictions or guarantees of future values or tax outcomes.
- It does not draft trust instruments or other legal documents; it records the terms your team summarizes from them.
- Tax calculations cover US federal estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes. State estate and inheritance taxes and taxes in other countries are not modeled.
- Exemption amounts and rates are entered by your team or loaded from published tables; your tax analyst confirms them.
- It does not prepare or file gift or estate tax returns.
- Values are only as current as the custodial and portfolio data you connect; assets held elsewhere must be entered manually.
- It is not a trust accounting system and does not process trust distributions or payments.
