Cameron Johnson

Chief Marketing Officer

Cameron’s career rests on one conviction: great marketing starts with a deep understanding of the sales cycle. He began in Silicon Valley at Adobe, leading communications through a pivotal era of digital transformation. He then spent more than a decade on the commercial front lines at Google and AWS, managing key relationships and driving revenue for the world’s largest technology ecosystems.

At Moraph he brings that revenue-first mindset to marketing for highly regulated sectors (government, healthcare and finance), using AI to modernize how Moraph connects with institutional clients. He also advises silentVIP on AI-driven travel, making sure emerging technology solves real business problems.

Cameron is responsible for how institutions discover, understand and choose Moraph. He leads brand, marketing and demand generation across the three industry divisions. He also leads the website and product marketing, analyst relations and events, and the market research that shapes Moraph’s positioning. Simon Malian

Managing Director, Chief AI Officer and Chief Information Security Officer

Simon architects and secures the systems modern society can’t afford to see fail. His career sits deliberately where cybersecurity, computational science and finance meet, and he holds formal training in all three. As Chief Information Security Officer, he leads Moraph’s global security operations, defending high-assurance systems in finance, healthcare and government against nation-state adversaries and organized crime.

Before Moraph, Simon helped pioneer AI-driven decision systems in Ray Dalio’s Systematized Intelligence Lab at Bridgewater Associates. He also embedded compliance and security into systematic trading at Two Sigma, and built secure cloud-native platforms for Australia’s National Broadband Network, Commonwealth Bank and Westpac. In every role he has bridged engineering, security, legal, finance and executive leadership to turn ambitious ideas into resilient systems. He contributes to the profession through IEEE and ISC2, and is a Sir Robert Menzies Scholar to Harvard University.

At Moraph, Simon is responsible for two disciplines that clients increasingly see as one: securing the platforms they depend on, and governing the AI built into them. He sets the security strategy and controls that cover every Moraph business unit and office, and oversees the Security Operations Center within Global Resilience Operations. He also owns the evidence behind Moraph’s independent SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001 audits, and the principle that in Moraph’s AI, the system proposes and a person decides.

Gaston Malik

Chief Data Officer

Gaston has spent his career where mission-critical engineering meets data sovereignty, guided by one principle: the systems that power essential industries must be as intelligent as they are unbreakable. He leads Moraph’s Data Trust & Governance Labs, pioneering Regulatory Engineering to build sovereign intelligence. These are systems that can reason, but are constrained by code-based logic that encodes privacy and auditability into the data itself.

As a Principal Engineer at Google, he led the technical architecture for the Pixel ecosystem’s intelligence layer, directing on-device machine learning and sensor fusion. He also architected federated learning so devices could learn without sensitive data ever leaving the phone. Earlier, at Motorola Solutions, he managed the software teams behind mission-critical public safety communications. Those networks served first responders and had to keep working through hurricanes and grid failures, which taught him that the true measure of a system is how it endures when everything goes wrong.

At Moraph, Gaston is responsible for how data is engineered, protected and governed across the company and its products. He leads Data Trust & Governance Labs, whose practices cover data engineering and architecture, privacy engineering and sovereignty, and AI governance and MLOps. His teams work out how clients can use AI and analytics on sensitive data while keeping it in the right jurisdiction, explaining every model’s decisions and producing the audit trail regulators expect.

Areas of responsibility

  • Data Trust & Governance Labs
  • Data engineering, architecture and the data platform
  • Privacy engineering and data sovereignty
  • AI governance, model risk and MLOps
  • Data residency across the US, UK and Australia
  • Analytics and data products
