Business Continuity Planning

Moraph licenses, implements and runs Fusion Risk Management for your business continuity program. We configure the platform for business impact analysis, continuity and disaster recovery plans, and exercise records in line with FFIEC expectations, then administer it, keep plans on their review cycle and prepare the evidence your examiners ask for. Your organization keeps every decision about recovery priorities, plan approval and risk acceptance.

Principal workflows

  • Analyze: Business impact analyses identify each unit's critical processes, the applications, vendors, people and locations they depend on, and the recovery time and point objectives the business needs.
  • Plan: Continuity and disaster recovery plans are built from templates and the approved analysis, so contacts, dependencies and recovery steps stay connected to the data they come from.
  • Exercise: Tabletop exercises, failover tests and recovery tests are scheduled, run and recorded in the platform, with results, timings and issues kept as the testing log.
  • Evidence: Program status, test results and open remediation are reported to management and the board, and examiners get read-only access or exports instead of a manual binder.

Who uses it

  • Business continuity and operational resilience managers at banks and credit unions
  • Business-line plan owners who keep their unit's plan current
  • IT disaster recovery leads responsible for application and infrastructure recovery
  • Executives and crisis management teams who lead the response to a disruption

  • Open issues from exercises and reviews

  • Monthly service review of Moraph's work

Features

  • Business impact analysis: Fusion collects each unit's critical processes, dependencies and recovery objectives through questionnaires Moraph configures to your methodology.
  • Dependency mapping: Processes are linked to the applications, vendors, people and locations they rely on, so the effect of losing one is visible.
  • Plan templates: Continuity, disaster recovery and crisis plans built from templates that follow your program standards.
  • Connected plan data: Contacts, locations and application data in plans come from scheduled imports rather than retyping, so plans stay current as source data changes.
  • Review and approval cycles: Plans and analyses carry review dates, owners and an approval step, with reminders as reviews come due.
  • Exercise and test records: Every tabletop, failover and recovery test is recorded with its scope, participants, timings, results and issues.
  • Recovery gap view: Recovery time objectives the business needs are compared with the recovery capability IT has recorded or demonstrated.
  • Issue tracking: Findings from exercises and reviews are assigned, dated and tracked to closure.
  • Third-party dependencies: Critical vendors are linked to the processes they support, so vendor resilience is part of the continuity picture.
  • Incident management: During a disruption, Fusion gives the response team the affected processes, plans and contacts, and keeps a record of actions taken.
  • Program dashboards: Plan currency, analysis completion, test coverage and open issues on dashboards Moraph builds for each audience.
  • Managed administration: Moraph administers users, templates, imports and workflows, and handles changes through a logged request process.

Integrations

  • HR system: Staff, managers, roles and locations imported on a schedule so plan contacts and alternates stay current.
  • IT asset inventory or CMDB: Applications and infrastructure with their owners and recovery tiers, linked to the processes that depend on them.
  • Vendor risk management: Critical vendors and their resilience information from Moraph's Vendor Risk Management (VRM) or your own vendor inventory.
  • Facilities data: Branches, offices and data centers with addresses and capacity, used for location-loss scenarios.
  • Emergency notification: Contact lists prepared for the notification tool you already use, where it accepts imports.
  • Single sign-on: Staff sign in through your identity provider (SAML).
  • Reporting exports: Program data exported to your data warehouse or governance, risk and compliance reporting.

Deployment

  • Licensed through Moraph: Moraph resells the Fusion Risk Management subscription and runs it as a managed service, as one agreement with you.
  • Your existing licence: Where you already license the platform, Moraph takes over implementation and administration, subject to the vendor's terms.
  • Alongside Moraph software: Can be paired with Moraph's Vendor Risk Management (VRM) so third-party dependencies feed the continuity program.

Security and privacy

  • Single sign-on: Staff sign in through your identity provider, so your password and multi-factor policies apply.
  • Role-based access: Plan owners see their own unit's material; approving a plan is separate from writing one.
  • Controlled administrator access: Moraph administrators use named accounts, and their access to your program data is limited, logged and reviewed with you.
  • Audit history: Changes to plans, approvals, exercise records and configuration are logged with the person and time.
  • Encryption and keys: Configuration exports and service records Moraph holds are encrypted, with keys Moraph staff cannot use without explicit, time-bound authorization. Data in the platform is protected under Fusion Risk Management's own controls.
  • Moraph controls: Moraph's managed services operate under its SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001 audited controls, and service records stay in the US, UK or Australia region you choose.

Limitations

  • Moraph is not the vendor. Fusion Risk Management owns and operates the platform, and its own service commitments, roadmap and outages apply.
  • Licences are subject to Fusion Risk Management's terms, including any limits on users, modules and data.
  • Moraph does not run your recovery. Failover, system recovery and business recovery are performed by your staff and providers; the platform records the plans and results.
  • Recovery objectives, plan approval, test scope and acceptance of findings are your organization's decisions.
  • Plan quality depends on the source data you provide and on plan owners keeping their content current.
  • Mass emergency notification is not part of this service. Contact lists can be prepared for the notification tool you already use.
  • Moraph does not certify that your program meets regulatory expectations; it helps you produce and organize the evidence.
  • Features available depend on the platform modules you license.
