Referral partners
You already advise organizations that run on regulated technology. When one of them needs a partner to build, secure or run it, introduce us. We do the work, keep you informed and credit the business to you.
A good referral
What makes an introduction worth making
You don’t need to diagnose the problem or know our products. The most useful referrals have three things.
A real organization in our sectors
A bank, credit union, wealth manager, fintech, health system, physician group, life sciences company or public agency. If you are not sure, ask your partner manager.
A need you can describe in a sentence
“Their examiner flagged vendor oversight.” “Prior authorizations are swamping the front desk.” “The county clerk is buried in records requests.” That is enough for us to bring the right team.
A client who agreed to hear from us
Ask before you share anyone’s contact details. We only contact organizations that have agreed to it, and we tell them who introduced us.
Banks and credit unions
For business banking and commercial teams
Relationship managers know when a business client is struggling with technology long before a vendor does: a medical group whose staff are drowning in paperwork, an adviser preparing for an exam, a town whose records office is behind. A referral helps your client and strengthens the relationship.
| Your client | What you might hear | How we help |
|---|---|---|
| Physician groups, ambulatory and specialty networks | “We can’t keep up with prior authorizations”, “our EHR vendor says it’s not their problem” | Our Healthcare Solutions applications for patient access and operations, and HIPAA-ready collaboration and security |
| Registered investment advisers and broker-dealers | “Our exam is coming up”, “we can’t supervise texts and chat” | Compliant communications, archiving and supervision, and vendor oversight, from Financial Services Solutions |
| Municipalities, counties and school districts | “Records requests are piling up”, “we had a ransomware scare” | Records and citizen-service applications and secure collaboration from Government Solutions, with 24/7 monitoring |
| Fintechs in your partner program | “Our bank partner wants evidence of our controls” | Security, compliance evidence and governance built to the standards your own examiners expect |
Fits your own obligations
Banks set up referral arrangements to fit their own rules, such as customer disclosures, policies on referral compensation and third-party risk management. We give your compliance and vendor-management teams what they need to review the arrangement.
No tie to your products
A referral to Moraph is never a condition of credit or of any banking service, and we never ask a bank to make it one. Clients choose freely.
Simple for your bankers
Relationship managers submit a referral in a few minutes online or through your partner manager, and see its status at each milestone.
Other referral partners
How other partners work with us
Accounting, audit and advisory firms
Your engagements surface control gaps, exam findings and SOC 2 readiness work. We help clients close them, often starting with a pre-audit gap analysis. Firms cannot take referral fees for audit clients where independence rules forbid it; for those clients the arrangement carries no fee, and you remain free to assess our work.
Insurance brokers
Cyber insurers increasingly ask for multi-factor authentication, tested backups and around-the-clock monitoring before they quote. We help your clients put those controls in place and document them, through Global Resilience Operations. Brokers follow their own licensing rules on compensation, and the partner agreement reflects them.
Industry and professional associations
Credit union leagues, medical group associations and associations of counties and cities speak for organizations that share the same rules and pressures. We offer member briefings and programs sized for members, and we credit the association for member introductions as its agreement sets out.
IT and managed services providers
When a client’s regulated work outgrows general IT support (a FedRAMP requirement, a HIPAA audit, a FINRA exam), refer the regulated workload to us. Where the client wants it, you stay their provider for everyday support, and we agree the boundaries in writing.
Law firms: where professional conduct rules restrict referral fees, we work with you without them. Your partner agreement sets out what applies.
What happens next
After you refer a client
- Submitted
You submit the referral
Online or through your partner manager: who the client is, who agreed to be contacted, and the need in a sentence or two.
- Confirmed
We confirm it
We check whether we are already in conversation with the client, register the referral to you if not, and tell you who at Moraph owns it.
- First call
We contact your client
The owner reaches out, names you as the introducer, and arranges a first conversation with the right industry team.
- Proposal
We shape the work
If there is a fit, we propose an approach. You hear that a proposal went out; the details stay between us and the client unless they choose to share them.
- Outcome
Signed, or closed
We tell you when the opportunity is won or closed, and why it closed if the client is happy for us to say.
- Credit
You are credited
For a signed contract, you are credited under your agreement, including any referral fee, paid on its terms.
Credit and fees
How credit works
Registration
A referral is registered to you from the day we accept it, for the period in your partner agreement. If the client comes back to us later in that period, it is still your referral.
Referral fees
Fees are paid on business you introduce that becomes a signed contract, on the basis and terms in your partner agreement. There are no fees for introductions alone, and none where law or the client’s procurement rules prohibit them.
Transparency
Where a fee is paid, it is disclosed to the client wherever your obligations or theirs require it. We would rather a client know than wonder.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to stay involved after the introduction?
No. Referral partners can step back completely. If you would like to stay involved in the work itself, see Consulting & advisory partners.
What if the client is in a sector you didn’t list?
Ask your partner manager. We focus on financial services, healthcare and government because that is where our applications and controls are built; outside them we will tell you honestly if we are not the right fit.
Can my relationship managers see the status of their referrals?
Yes. Each referral has an owner at Moraph, and your partner manager updates you at each milestone. Strategic partners also review shared opportunities in regular account planning.
What do you need from our compliance team?
Usually a review of the partner agreement and of how clients are told about the referral. We provide our security evidence and company information through our Trust Center and partner manager to support your third-party risk review.
Will you contact our client without telling us?
For a registered referral, no: you hear when we first contact them and at each milestone after that.
