Data Engineer, Healthcare Analytics

About the role

Turn hospital data into decisions without compromising privacy. You will build the pipelines behind our patient-flow, stewardship and incident-reporting analytics for health services in Australia and New Zealand.

What you'll do

• Build batch and streaming pipelines from EMR, ADT and operational systems
• Implement de-identification, retention and access controls in code
• Model data for dashboards used by clinical and operations leaders
• Monitor data quality and fix issues at the source

What you'll bring

• 3+ years in data engineering
• Strong SQL and Python; experience with dbt, Spark or similar
• Right to work in Australia

Nice to have

• Experience with health data standards (HL7, FHIR)

Compensation

A$160,000 – A$185,000 per year
Base salary, plus superannuation.

Where you land in the range depends on your experience and skills, not on how well you negotiate.
