Site Reliability Engineer, Private Cloud
About the role
Keep tier-one services inside their 99.99% SLA. You will run our private cloud footprint in Sydney and its burst connections to public cloud, with a 1-hour RTO and 15-minute RPO for critical workloads.
What you'll do
- Operate and automate private cloud infrastructure and its links to AWS, Azure and GCP
- Own reliability for APAC production workloads, including capacity planning and DR testing
- Improve observability, alerting and incident response
- Take part in the follow-the-sun on-call rotation
What you'll bring
- 4+ years in SRE, platform or infrastructure engineering
- Strong Kubernetes, Terraform and Linux skills
- Experience running production systems with strict SLAs
- Right to work in Australia
Nice to have
- Experience with HPE GreenLake or Equinix Fabric
Compensation
A$175,000 – A$200,000 per year
Base salary, plus superannuation.
Where you land in the range depends on your experience and skills, not on how well you negotiate.
